Donations:
How can I support Catholic Charities?

Donate NowForms of Giving Supporting a favorite charitable organization, like Catholic Charities, can take many forms. An individual just needs to determine what form meets his or her goals and desires. Making a charitable gift can be personally rewarding, significantly impacting someone in need and provide a tax benefit to the donor.

Online Giving

Online Giving is becoming a growing and more popular way for individuals to support a favorite charitable organization, like Catholic Charities Southwestern Ohio. You may find it, like others have, to be an easier method on your own schedule for giving. All gifts to Catholic Charities remain in our service area of Southwestern Ohio. For your convenience you may make your tax deductible donation now by submitting the form below.

Annual Giving

An annual gift or gifts of cash during the year can support the operation of our agency. Catholic Charities sponsors the "Choir of Angels" Donation Level. Information about that plan can be found on the main web page and in our quarterly newsletter.

Capital Gifts

Some people prefer to make a large one-time gift in support of some aspect of our agency. Capital Gifts can be made to help with the renovation of our facilities currently underway or designated to support one of our programs or service areas.

Appreciated Securities

Appreciated Securities donated to Catholic Charities or another charity of your choice, may allow you to avoid or reduce capital gains taxes and receive a federal income tax deduction. If you possess bonds, mutual funds or stocks that have appreciated in value but yield a low dividend you may find this an attractive option.

Planned Gifts

A donor, after carefully considering and deciding upon their personal and family considerations, may wish to make provisions for a Planned Gift to a charitable organization such as Catholic Charities. With a Planned Gift many things need to be considered including the purpose of the gift, the asset you wish to use, timing of the gift, income tax and estate tax planning. In almost all cases it is recommended to consult with your attorney, financial planner, accountant or other appropriate advisors.

Legacy Gifts

A family member, a special teacher or religious leader, almost anybody who has made an impact on our life or the life of others can be recognized through a Legacy Gift. In some cases public recognition can be achieved through a Legacy Gift.

MEETING YOUR GOALS

There is a way to make a gift for every objective you may have. Find out which is best for you. In almost every situation you should consult with your advisors. It is also important to update your Will on a regular basis. Changes such as a birth, a death, marital changes can all quickly make changes to your Will and other documents. Tax law changes can also impact your situation

Contact our office for these or any form of making a gift or donation to Catholic Charities at (513) 241-7745.
