Bilingual Mental Health Counselor II
Job Requirements:
Master’s degree in counseling or social work, non-independent license in counseling or social work; must be fluent in Spanish written and oral.
Position Summary:
Provide mental health counseling services for agency clients. Perform all related activities, including but not limited to the following:
Illustrative Duties:
- Provide mental health counseling services for individuals, couples, families, and groups as deemed appropriate based on training and experience.
- Provide counseling services at various agency and community locations in order to best meet the needs of the client, the community, and the agency.
- Perform administrative tasks related to the provision of counseling services.
- Participate in individual and/or group supervision as required.
- Participate in staff meetings as required.
- Participate in case consultation meetings as required.
- Participate in in-service trainings as required.
- Participate in outside professional trainings sufficient to maintain state licensure.
- Abide by the agency’s policies and procedures.
- Uphold the agency’s mission statement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Pay Range Level: E-3
