CCSWO Domestic Adoption
Catholic Charities SouthWestern Ohio is a Private Child Placing Agency which provides personal, professional services to families seeking to adopt both special needs and non-special needs infants. Our goal is to preserve, strengthen and promote family life. The agency and social workers have a threefold responsibility in our services to meet the needs of the child, the birthparents and the adopting parents.
All Ohio rules and regulations will be followed in the preparation, process of the homestudy, and placement of the child, which includes pre-adoption education, documentation, interviews, and post-placement service.
All families will be considered for all adoptive placement opportunities based on their requests and statement of acceptability. Most adoptions involve some degree of openness between birthparents and adoptive parents.
