CCSWO International Adoption

Catholic Charities SouthWestern Ohio is a homestudy agency for international adoption. There are no age, race, marriage and/or religious restrictions by the agency, but the agency does support the regulations of the international agencies and the country of origin of the child.

All Ohio, CIS (INS), international agency and foreign country rules and regulations will be followed in the preparation and process of the homestudy and placement of the child. This includes pre-adoption education, documentation, interviews, and post-placement services.

The social worker will: complete the required homestudy in a timely manner after all required documents are received, assist the family with the selection or coordination with the international agency as requested, provide pre-adoption education either through the agency, individually, or through other educational opportunities in the community and assist the family with paperwork for the international agency and CIS.
