Su Casa History & Values

Our History:

Su Casa was founded in 1997 as a response to the sudden increase in the numbers of immigrants arriving to Cincinnati from Mexico and the rest of Latin America. Su Casa was the first organization in the Cincinnati region to focus on the Latino Community. (Predominately new immigrant with limited English proficiency). Hispanic population estimates range from 25 to 40,000 with an increase over the last decade (Census, 2001).

What do we value?

Resilience, Education, Determination & Hope

What are we here for?

To provide comprehensive services to fulfill the needs of the Hispanic/Latino community in the Tri-State area while empowering them to become pro-active

To become the place where Hispanic/Latino individuals connect with their culture and develop strategies to live healthy and fulfilled lives in the United States.
