Volunteer Opportunities at Su Casa
Ok, you want to “do something” or you may just feel you need to “give back” and don't know where to start? ... Su Casa is looking for volunteers. Check out the different opportunities available. I am sure you will find one just for you!
- We have tons of boxes with food. We need “healthy minded” people who can prepare individual “healthy packages” with the food supply we have.
- Our library needs a bilingual TLC person who can organize the books that have been donated to our library. We know what we want; we just need some beautiful hands and minds to be ready to work.
- We have a volunteer position open for a bilingual person who can supervise our library and computer lab on Sundays. The time commitment is Sundays from 10:00 am to 3:30 p.m.
- Do you love presents? We have lots of presents that need to be wrapping for Christmas and for the “Bajada de Reyes” party.
- Do you love teaching? Great! We need instructors to teach English and a bilingual instructor to teach Microsoft office. Our computer lab is awesome! Thank you Fifth Third Bank!
- Spanish! Spanish! Spanish! Yes, you can use your Spanish skills (and medical skills) in our health fairs. Su Casa Health Fair is on March 9th and Aug 10th. The Bienestar program at Santa Maria Community Services is also having theirs on April 13th and Sept 28th.
